Risk Reduction Through Partnership.
By combining the bulk earthworks, civil works and SMPP supply and installation packages between K Neumayer and Viva Engineering, the partnership reduces the number of contractors and interfaces, significantly lowering the risk to manageable levels.
Advanced Project Controls
Implementing strong project controls ensures successful project delivery. These controls are the project’s backbone and provide vital oversight and coordination. With adequate project controls, mining companies can proactively identify and address potential issues such as material shortages or logistical setbacks.
Viva Engineering uses an integrated management system (StruMIS) with barcode scanning. It allows you to live-track every item, from detailing through to site installation utilising the 3D BIM viewer, so you can keep track of everything that has been accounted for and delivered.
Co-ordination
By coordinating closely with Viva, we plan and ensure that the necessary steel components are delivered in the correct sequence, mitigating issues caused by client-controlled deliveries, such as lost productivity due to fragmented steelwork deliveries. This is often a risk since our teams have a knack for erecting faster than our clients can supply.
In addition, by being involved in the detailing stage, we enhance overall on-site agility, enabling an efficient construction process that continues to deliver value through the supply chain.
Together with our South African Steel Fabrication partner Viva Engineering, we were awarded the turnkey shop detailing, fabrication, corrosion protection, transport, and site installation of the Paste Plant in 2023.
This project consists of 1250 tons and over 4km of piping. The Rosh Pinah project is currently in execution.
This project was another successful collaboration with our South African Steel Fabricating partner Viva Engineering.
The project scope included bins, chutes, conveyors, and transfer buildings. K Neumayer is completing the site installation and commissioning, as well as the bulk earthworks and full civil scope.
